Welcome, Writers!

The Emerald Literary Guild (ELG) is a nonprofit that nurtures the writing community of Eugene-Springfield and Lane County, Oregon. We present the free monthly Windfall Reading Series at the Eugene Public Library, publish the work of local writers, and create ways for writers to connect, share, and be heard.

The Anthology is here! Please join us in celebrating this momentous achievement. These books contain a brilliant collection of work from Pacific Northwest writers and beyond, including such luminaries as Oregon Poet Laureate emerita Paulann Petersen, the late Ralph Salisbury, co-founder and director of the University of Oregon’s Creative Writing Program, noted poetry mentor, the late Erik Muller, spoken word maestra, Jorah LaFleur, novelist, Henry Alley, and so many more. As original founder of the Lane Literary Guild (now ELG), and International poetry teacher, Ingrid Wendt says, “This has to be one of the most important anthologies of the century, with its wide range of well known and lesser known, the local and regional and national writers, living and dead, who have appeared in your reading series over the past decade and more. I am So proud to be in this anthology.” Order your copies here.
